STATISTICA accepts original papers dealing with both methodological and applied aspects of statistics in all scientific fields. STATISTICA publishes also book reviews, news and announcements.
- All contributions must be submitted to the Editorial staff by e-mail to stat.journal@unibo.it in PDF format. Hard copies are not needed. The address, the telephone and telefax numbers, the e-mail address of each Author should be clearly specified at the end of the paper.
- All papers will be subjected to a blind peer review.
- If the manuscript is accepted the Authors agree to transfer the copyright of their article in favour of the journal.
- Manuscripts must be written in English, typed double-spaced, 12 pt, with a margin of at least 3 cm on all sides. Articles should not exceed 30 pages (in A4 format).
- Papers should enclose a summary of no more than 200 words.
- Footnotes, equations, tables and diagrams should be numbered consecutively.
- Bibliographical references should be listed at the end of the paper and should be given as follows: K. PEARSON (1892), The grammar of science, Walter Scott, London; Th. BAYES (1764), An essay towards solving a problem in the doctrine of chances, "Philosophical transactions", 53, pp 32-54.
- Authors will receive the first proofs: they are kindly requested to correct only misprint.
STATISTICA cannot ensure the publication of papers if the proofs are not returned within the indicated terms.
- Authors will receive 25 reprints free of charge.
If the manuscript is accepted, the paper must be type written by using microsoft word according to the standard reported in the attached file
